Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Server/Supervisor to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role combines the responsibilities of serving guests with supervisory duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid background in food service and hospitality. The Server/Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting team members to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
- Oversee restaurant operations during shifts, supervising staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure positive reviews
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Train new staff members on service protocols, POS operation, and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Support team members in balancing workload during busy periods and ensuring timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry is required, with a focus on serving and hospitality roles
- Proven supervisory experience or leadership skills in a restaurant setting preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume shifts
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and guest interactions
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
