About Rampal Restoration Ltd.
Rampal Restoration is a building envelope and restoration contractor based in Surrey, BC, serving the Lower Mainland. Founded and operated by a BCIT Architectural and Building Technology graduate, we specialize in waterproofing, concrete restoration, sealants, crack injection, and expansion joint work on commercial buildings, strata properties, and parkade structures. We are building a quality-focused, owner-operated company for the long term.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced waterproofing and concrete restoration foreman for subcontract work on commercial projects across the Lower Mainland.
This is not a traditional employment position. This is a subcontract relationship for an experienced professional who knows the trade, works independently, and wants flexible project-by-project work with a growing company.
The owner is on site daily. You run the technical work. We handle everything else — sales, estimating, client relationships, scheduling, and materials procurement. You show up, do quality work, get paid well.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in waterproofing, concrete restoration, or building envelope work
- Experience with any combination of: sealant and caulking programs, epoxy and polyurethane crack injection, concrete spall repair and structural patching, waterproofing membrane installation (parkade decks, balconies, below-grade), expansion joint replacement
- Familiarity with manufacturer systems — Sika, Tremco, Soprema, Mapei, BASF, or similar
- Able to work independently and direct additional labor on site when needed
- Valid BC driver's license
- Own hand tools
- WHMIS certification
- Fall protection certification
- WCB coverage or willing to work under company WCB — discuss at interview
- First Aid Level 1 (asset, not required)
