Role Purpose
Nostos Chiropractic is excited to be expanding our Marketing team! We're looking for a driven individual who thrives in social environments, and loves to make new connections. The Community Outreach & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building relationships in the community, creating new patient opportunities, supporting referral partner development, and growing awareness of Nostos Chiropractic through creating and executing screening events, corporate wellness initiatives, and educational programs.
The primary goal of this role is to position Nostos as a subject matter authority and trusted resource for family health, posture, chiropractic, massage therapy, and wellness.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Community Screening Events
Screening events are a powerful way to connect with individuals who may be in need of the services that we offer. By running these events, you’ll engage with individuals and determine if we are the right fit for what their needs and redirect them if not.
Prospect New Screening Opportunities
Identify and secure opportunities with:
- Gyms
- Yoga studios
- Pilates studios
- Martial arts academies
- Running clubs
- Community associations
- Farmers markets
- Corporate wellness events
- Recreation centres
- Parent and baby groups
Event Coordination & Execution
- Schedule screening events and corporate Lunch & Learns
- Coordinate logistics with venue partners
- Prepare promotional materials
- Maintain event calendar
- Track event performance
- Attend and operate on-site posture screenings and Lunch & Learn presentations
Responsibilities include:
- Educating attendees
- Building rapport
- Generating interest in comprehensive assessments
- Booking appointments
- Collecting lead information, an nurturing leads through to their assessment.
- Track results of events
2. Childcare Wellness Program
Healthy kids become healthy adults. We love engaging with local organizations to share what families can do to develop sustainable healthy patterns
Develop partnerships with:
- Daycares
- Preschools
- Montessori schools
- Private schools
- Parent groups
Responsibilities include:
- Building connections with these groups, sending them some of our health resources and booking in-person or online talks with the families of these businesses.
- Track referrals generated through participating organizations.
3. Corporate Lunch & Learns
Many companies are eager to support the health and well being of their teams. We're happy to provide an opportunity to give them a catered lunch with brief health talk.
Responsibilities:
- Source and schedule Corporate Lunch & Learn opportunities
- Attend Lunch & Learn events to support presenter and capture leads.
- Track leads and follow up with company's wellness coordinator.
4. Newsletter & Relationship Marketing Coordinator
Working with the Nostos team, develop, launch, and track results of newsletters. Coordinate content including:
Patient Focused Newsletters (x2/month)
- Patient success stories
- Seasonal health tips
- Upcoming events
- Community initiatives
- Practitioner highlights
- Follow the Nostos Newsletter Guidelines for content direction
Referral Partner Newsletter (x1/month)
- Special newsletter for Nostos referrals partners
- More of a clinical approach
- Each newsletter can focus on an aspect of health, and highlight why we are a great referral for that topic.
- Success stories
- Clinical insights
- New services
- Educational resources
- Current clinic initiatives
- Work with the doctors on direction of the letter each month
Job Structure
This is a hybrid of work-from-home, on-site event attendance and occasional in-office work.
~15 hours/week, with an approximate breakdown of
- 4 hours/onsite screening event
- 4 hours/newsletter
- 7 hours flex time for screening acquisition/Lunch & Learn Presentation/Kids Health Presentation
Goals and KPI's
- 2 “small” screening events per month (3-4 hours, gym/yoga studio/local market/…)
- 1 “big” screening event per quarter (trade show)
- 1 Corporate partner per quarter
- 1 Lunch & Learn booked per quarter
- 1 Childcare health presentation per quarter
Lead Goals:
- Small Screenings: 4-6 leads booked/event
- Big Events: 12-20 leads booked/event
- Lunch & Learn Program: 5-10 leads booked/quarter
- Children's Wellness Program: 5-10 leads booked/quarter
- Newsletter: 2-3 leads booked/month
- Total Quarterly: 40-65 Leads
- Goal of at least 50% attendance rate for booked leads
Compensation
This role is a combination of base-hourly wage with a bonus structure on leads who have attended their assessment appointments, and additional bonuses for when they begin care.
Base Wage: $20/hour
Bonuses:
- $10 for each lead who shows up and attends their assessment appointment
- $40 for each person who converts to a "care plan" or attends a minimum number of sessions
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
