**Overview:**
We are a privately owned reputed animal hospital serving the Tillsonburg area from last 35 years. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team and provide exceptional care to our animal patients. As a Veterinarian at our clinic, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners by delivering high-quality medical services and building lasting relationships within the community.
**Duties for a fully licnesed vet:**
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose illnesses in various animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats,small mammals, exotics, and avians.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including surgical procedures, dental care, preventative medicine, and nutritional counseling.
- Perform soft tissue surgeries with precision and expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure seamless patient care and client communication.
-Take turn on emergency services provided by the hospital.
-Conduct exam and diagnostics procedures on exotics.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development by staying current on veterinary best practices and participating in relevant conferences or workshops.
- Mentor and guide veterinary students or interns in their educational journey.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care and ethical practices.
**Skills:**
- Possession of a valid Canadian Veterinarian with Full license in Ontario.
- Proficiency in conducting various veterinary procedures, including soft tissue surgeries, dentistry, preventative care, and nutritional guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, pet owners, and the local community.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
**Nice-to-have Skills:**
- Experience or interest in small animal medicine and surgery.
-Experience in exotic medicine.
