Northumberland Lamb Marketing Co-operative Ltd. is a federally inspected lamb processing facility located in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Established in 1982, we are proudly 100% farmer-owned and committed to producing high-quality Canadian lamb products for customers across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
We are currently seeking a motivated Industrial Meat Cutter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing quality products, works well in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare lamb carcasses and primal cuts to company specifications
- Produce consistent, high-quality cuts while minimizing trim loss
- Operate knives, saws, and other meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Package and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with federal food safety requirements
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with receiving, processing, and handling fresh lamb products
- Work efficiently as part of the production team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an industrial meat cutter, butcher, or meat processing worker is preferred
- Experience processing lamb, beef, pork, or other red meat is considered an asset
- Ability to safely use knives and meat processing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 25 kg and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety
