Join our small team as a Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant, where your enthusiasm and compassion will make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this role you’ll be the friendly face greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting patient care. We area a privately-owned, in-home veterinary service based in Collingwood but operating within the Georgian Bay Area. This paid part-time position offers regularly scheduled shifts, with the option for additional hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and professionally, provide empathetic and compassionate client services
- schedule daily appointments, managing appointment flow and serves as the primary point of contact.
- Managing client communications via phone, email and test messages
- Answering and directing phone calls, responds promptly to client inquiries and providing accurate information
- Managing client accounts, updating records
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and ensure all documentation is complete and organized
- processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- coordinating prescription refill requests and client communications
- Keep the office environment clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate daily schedules and urgent needs effectively
- uphold and reflect our team's values in every client and patient interaction
Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative or Veterinary Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high pressure situations
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly to changing priorities
