Brite Star Painting Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial & Residential Painter to join our growing team in the Lower Mainland. In this role, you will deliver high-quality interior and exterior painting services for residential homes and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces (sanding, patching, mudding, caulking, filling holes, taping, priming)
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Complete interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects
- Protect work areas using drop sheets, masking, and proper prep techniques
- Perform minor drywall repairs (patching, skim coating, texture touch-ups)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Follow safety procedures when using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional painting experience
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with spray equipment (airless, HVLP) is an asset
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Fluent English communication skills required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland
