Community LPN
Position Summary
Our team is hiring LPNs in Calgary to support our growing team. You will be responsible for going to homes providing aides to daily living for seniors who live in their own home. You must have current certification with the CLPNA and have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle.
We’re looking for LPNs who have a passion for working with the geriatric population. This role requires willingness to drive since your day-to-day work will be going from home to home providing care to seniors living in their own home.
The LPN’s performs basic nursing procedures and provides treatments within the scope of practice and in accordance with established CareGivers Home Health programs, policies and procedures. The LPN provides ancillary support in the provision of quality resident care. Furthermore, the LPN administers medications in accordance with established procedures, legislative standards and as directed by the doctor’s orders provided.
This position would be great for a self-starter who can manage their time effectively. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability because the day-to-day working environment will involve very little direct supervision.
Qualifications
· You must have current certification with the CLPNA
· You must have a drivers license and will be willing to drive from home to home
· You must be reliable, have a fixed availability and be willing to work every second weekend.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.(We will perform this check if none is provided)

· Available shifts
- ·Day shifts : 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Evening Shifts: 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
