Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems
- Utilize welding skills for bodywork or structural repairs when necessary
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of heavy machinery or equipment
- Document all work performed accurately in service records
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as required for complex repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and repair databases
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Excellent customer service skills to address client concerns professionally
- Prior experience working with maintenance tasks related to vehicle systems is advantageous
