Curious Beaver Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & E-Commerce Coordinator Assistant to join our team on a maternity leave contract. This role will support our production, inventory, and e-commerce operations by coordinating with manufacturers, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with the management and performance of our online sales channels, including Shopify and Amazon Seller Central.
The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure products are manufactured, received, and made available for sale on schedule. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in production coordination, inventory management, and e-commerce operations.
Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese is required, as this role involves regular communication with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
This is a one-year maternity leave coverage contract. While this position is intended to cover a maternity leave absence, there may be future employment opportunities available based on business needs, performance, and available openings at the conclusion of the contract term.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
- Communicate regularly with manufacturers and suppliers to monitor production timelines and order status.
- Follow up on purchase orders, product samples, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Track incoming inventory and communicate any delays or issues to management.
- Assist with product launches and inventory planning.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
E-Commerce Operations
- Monitor sales performance across all our online marketplaces.
- Review product listings and ensure information, images, and inventory levels are accurate.
- Identify out-of-stock products and coordinate replenishment with suppliers and warehouses.
- Assist with new product setup and listing creation.
- Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and marketplace performance metrics.
- Support promotional campaigns and product launches.
Inventory & Reporting
- Track inventory levels across multiple warehouses and sales channels.
- Generate sales and inventory reports for management.
- Analyze sales trends and provide recommendations for inventory planning.
- Assist with forecasting demand and replenishment needs.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized records of suppliers, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and warehouses regarding shipments and inventory transfers.
- Support cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as required.
Qualifications
· Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is required.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
· Experience with Amazon Seller Central is an asset.
· Experience in production, supply chain, inventory management, or e-commerce is preferred.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
