Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to manufacturer standards, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. The Body Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall safety and appearance of our clients’ vehicles.
Duties
- Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening using specialized tools and equipment
- Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine repair scope and necessary parts or materials
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Prepare vehicles for painting or finishing by sanding, priming, and masking as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during repair processes
Experience
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and systems
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, pry bars, and wrenches
- Experience working with power tools used in body repair processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs
- Prior mechanic experience or training in automotive bodywork is advantageous
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures, safety standards, and quality control practices
Pay: $3,000.00-$11,234.74 per month
