Summary
On-site role maintaining daily operations, property upkeep, and guest experience. Mix of guest services, administration, light maintenance, housekeeping/breakfast at low occupancy, and event support.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest services: welcome, check-in/out, respond to inquiries, ensure great stays.
- Property operations: inspect areas, perform light repairs, coordinate maintenance, ensure safety compliance.
- Admin: manage reservations/records, logs, inventory, and ordering.
- Housekeeping & breakfast: under 5 rooms—prepare breakfast and clean rooms/laundry; 5+ rooms—assist breakfast/housekeeping teams.
- Events: set up/tear down, assist guests, support smooth execution.
- Team support: cross-department help, respond to after-hours needs when required.
Operational Expectations
- Duties flex with occupancy.
- Focus shifts from hands-on breakfast/housekeeping at low occupancy to guest services, oversight, admin, events, and minor maintenance at higher occupancy.
Qualifications
- Hospitality/property ops experience preferred; strong customer service.
- Basic maintenance skills; organized, communicative, professional.
- Able to work independently; live on-site; handle physical tasks (lift 50 lbs).
- Comfortable with flexible schedules (evenings/weekends/holidays/on-call).
- Food Safe and First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain); criminal record check.
- Eligible to work in Canada; MS Office/reservation systems familiarity.
- Driver’s license/transportation an asset.
