WESI is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for Completions Service Specialists to support offshore operations in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of a wide range of well completion products within assigned geographic areas.
- Operate as part of a multi-person crew to execute well completion operations safely and efficiently.
- Consult with customers regarding products and services, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction at the well site.
- Review job designs and verify that job packets include the appropriate equipment, procedures, and resources to meet operational objectives.
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with processes and standards.
- Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve unanticipated operational challenges, consulting with operations support teams as required.
- Participate in pre-job and post-job product and service activities, supporting planning, execution, and operational reviews.
- Maintain assigned equipment and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with third-party personnel and contractors to ensure seamless integration of activities and minimize operational disruptions.
- Train and mentor Service Operators and Service Specialists in technical procedures and areas of expertise.
- Conduct and document Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, including site assessments, risk analyses, safety meetings, and PPE compliance.
- Complete all required well-site documentation and post-job reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in post-job reviews with supervisors to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for additional products and services and communicate potential sales leads to appropriate personnel.
- Promote safety awareness, environmental stewardship, and compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop advanced technical competencies to perform complex completion operations under challenging conditions.
- Expand expertise across a broad range of Completion Products and Services (CPS) offerings and other Product Service Lines (PSLs).
- Mentor team members and support competency assessments to contribute to workforce development and operational excellence.
