Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing outdoor landscapes through various horticultural and construction tasks. This role involves working with a range of tools and equipment to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients' outdoor spaces. Candidates with experience in landscape installation will thrive in this position, contributing to the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation in commercial settings
- Operate machinery such as mini excavator, skid steer, small tractors, RTV and Backhoes
- Operate small dump truck and pickup truck with trailer on public roads
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is desirable
- Strong understanding of landscape construction, maintenance practices, and safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and operating machinery
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate machinery safely required
- Valid ARZ or DZ license preferred; with a clean driving record.
