Carmedics Autowerks Inc. is a fast-growing independent automotive repair facility in Whitby specializing in diagnostics, maintenance, fleet service, and mechanical repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. We are currently looking for a motivated 310S Apprentice Automotive Technician (3rd Year Apprentice) who is eager to learn, work as part of a team, and build a long-term career with our company.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance services.
- Assist licensed technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
- Complete oil changes, brake services, suspension repairs, steering components, cooling systems, and other mechanical repairs.
- Use diagnostic scanners and service information systems.
- Perform tire installation, balancing, and seasonal tire changes.
- Maintain accurate repair notes and documentation.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting shop productivity standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.
- Approximately 3 years of apprenticeship experience preferred.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own basic set of automotive tools.
- Experience working with fleet vehicles is considered an asset.

Compensation
$25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
