Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handywoman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. This role requires a versatile individual with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and appliance repair, as well as excellent customer service skills. The successful applicant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing issues efficiently to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients and management.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic task including minor painting, cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repairs.
- Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
- Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs
- Regularly check facility spaces to identify issues with mechanical failure or breakdown
- Repair minor plumbing, electrical and safety systems
- Require Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
- Weather maintenance – shovel and clear snow, cleaning parking lot debris, general cleaning of outside of the building.
- Partnering with vendors on maintenance of company machinery, where needed.
- Provide accurate cost estimates to clients and notify management of major maintenance needs.
- Expected to perform any other task designated by the General Manager and the CEO.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in general handyman services or maintenance work
- Ability to work with hardware tools
- Detail oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Time management and prioritization
- Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Prior experience in appliance repair or assembly is beneficial
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide effective solution
Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, the results of which must be satisfactory to the Company in its sole discretion.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
