Position Summary
All About Abatement is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to oversee field operations and coordinate daily activities related to abatement, remediation, demolition, and construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, maintaining safety compliance, ensuring quality workmanship, coordinating resources, and supporting project completion in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Operations
- Supervise and coordinate field staff on active job sites
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crew members understand responsibilities
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to maintain efficiency
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance
- Assist with hands-on work when required to support project completion
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to Project Management
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce all company safety procedures and job site protocols
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions immediately
- Ensure proper PPE use and maintain all safety documentation
- Oversee safe handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Conduct regular respirator fit checks and PPE inspections
Quality Control
- Monitor work quality and ensure all work meets project specifications
- Inspect job sites regularly and resolve quality concerns promptly
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of equipment and materials
Team Leadership
- Lead crews by example while maintaining professional standards
- Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to team members
- Address team concerns and workplace conflicts when necessary
- Support onboarding and training of new employees
Administrative Responsibilities
- Upload daily project documentation using company reporting systems
- Complete daily site reports, hazard assessments, incident reports, and equipment logs
- Maintain accurate crew timesheets and project documentation
- Ensure records are submitted accurately and on time
Communication & Problem Solving
- Maintain clear communication with Project Managers regarding project progress, delays, and site requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Identify and resolve job site challenges while minimizing delays and disruptions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership position
- Strong knowledge of job site safety standards and industry regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience operating and maintaining industry tools and equipment
Working Conditions
This position involves working in commercial, industrial, and residential environments and may include physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
Candidates must be comfortable working in hazardous environments with exposure to dust, noise, weather conditions, and hazardous materials.
Flexibility for occasional travel, extended hours, and weekend work may be required depending on project demands.
Rémunération : 30,00$ à 32,00$ par heure
