Main Beam Fabrication LTD. is seeking an experienced Commercial Ironworker Foreman to lead a team of 5-10 ironworkers/welders on steel erection projects. You’ll manage daily operations, ensure safety compliance, interpret blueprints, and oversee project execution
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor ironworkers, ensuring safety and project quality.
- Interpret blueprints and plan steel erection activities.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce policies.
- Manage equipment, report issues, and complete daily/weekly reports.
- Layout, fit, tack, Structural Steel
Qualifications
- 2+ years as a Journeyman Ironworker or 1-2 years as a Foreman.
- Supervisor Training Certification
- Proficiency in steel layout, rigging, bolting, welding, and crane signaling.
- Ability to read blueprints and work with heavy equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
