Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, the incumbent is responsible for providing enterprise application portfolio management services and support to designated business areas within the Polytechnic. The incumbent will work with portfolio stakeholders and ITS management to manage the support and evolution of a portfolio of applications. The incumbent will be the daily point of contact for the portfolio. The incumbent will regularly review and manage support services and work with stakeholders to analyze, define and prioritize change and project requests. The incumbent also works closely with management for project and change request approvals, resources and escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates portfolio development work with ITS management and respective stakeholders.
- Understands all related systems in the portfolio and investigates opportunities for application of new or changed software to improve business processes. Subject matter expert in all related technologies and business processes in a designated area of support.

Works with the business users to review and conduct comprehensive analysis of requirements in business processes and supporting technology solutions.
- Proposes changes or extracts changes from clients and/or suppliers that could result in business improvements.

Performs project management and project coordination associated with the assigned business area to ensure the work meets the original portfolio approved priorities and that any variations to the approved plan are reported and resolved.

Regularly reviews outstanding incident and change request progress in their respective portfolios or arrangement to ensure they are within the defined service level agreement targets and or agreed upon schedules.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Three-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institute in Computer Studies or Information Technology or Business Administration with an emphasis on computer studies.

Additional skills required obtained through courses include:
- Modern Project Management - courses found in a post-diploma certificate program.
- Subject Matter Expertise in their respective portfolio.

Ellucian Banner ERP Expertise.

Business Analysis - courses found in a post-diploma certificate program.
- Basic understanding of enterprise architecture charts.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in IT project management and /or business analysis, including coordinating a large number of projects and work requests is required.

Experience with business process mapping and/or process modeling gap/fit analysis, data analysis and design skills are required.
- Experience working with Office 365, including MS Project and Visio. Knowledge of and experience working with an ERP system such as Banner.
- Experience in developing complex reports and using business analyst tools and techniques like facilitation, interviewing and documenting business requirements, and communicating technical requirements and the ability to communicate requirements to clients and team members.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Programmer Analyst and/or Systems Analyst in information technology, together with experience in managing customer relationships and project coordination or project management.
- Experience with business process mapping and/or process modeling and gap/fit analysis.
- Experience working with MS Office, including MS Project and Visio. Experience overseeing and developing data analytics projects and technologies strongly preferred (Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Data Lakes, Data Models, Extract-Transform-Load processes, experience with AWS Cloud).
