Job Summary
Newfore Inc. is seeking an experienced Freelance Bookkeeper to work with us in-house at our Stoney Creek office. This role requires someone highly confident with QuickBooks Online, with preference given to those who have worked in the construction industry. **Bookkeeper must be able to come to our head office for working hours.
We’re currently integrating our builders program (Buildertrend) with QuickBooks, so experience with construction financial workflows will be a strong asset.
What You’ll Do
- Manage bookkeeping tasks: accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation
- Oversee and support financial tracking of renovation projects
- Assist with the integration of our program, Buildertrend , into QuickBooks
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with CRA deadlines
- Collaborate with management to monitor cash flow and profitability
What We’re Looking For
- Strong bookkeeping background with proven QuickBooks Online expertise (required)
- Previous experience working with construction companies (preferred)
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management/accounting tools (asset)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with our team as needed
