Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care. This role requires a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and clinical research, with the ability to work effectively within electronic health record systems, as well as experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, performing medical examinations, ordering laboratory tests, and prescribing medications. The Physician will also be expected to keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of medicine and ensure that the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients using evidence-based medicine.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate. Monitor progress & response to treatments
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care services
- Perform physical examinations and order laboratory tests as needed
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed
- Supervision of Advanced Health Care Providers
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality policies
Pay will be based on a percentage split (70/30)
Language Requirement:
- English is required. French is not required
Education, Licensing:
- Doctoral Degree (preferred), CPSO Certification or have completed licensing exams
