Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. We are a small mental health facility with 8 clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents living in mental health facility. As an RN/RPN , you will play a crucial role in supporting clients ' health and well-being while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Assist with pain management strategies and support patients in managing their symptoms.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Participate in case management activities, coordinating care plans for clients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client outcomes in the community
Skills
- Strong understanding of nursing principles related to mental health
- Knowledge of medical terminology essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Background in Mental Health
