The Sales Representative will lead the sales efforts for the Company’s power generation product line across Ontario. This includes developing and implementing commercial sales strategies to grow the Company’s share of consumers within the market targeting rental houses, dealers, contractors and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth plans for power generation products for Ontario
- Develop and nurture and execute on created sales pipelines
- Identify new market verticals and develop new channels for direct sales using various sales tools and competitive analysis
- Develop and grow industry relationships with decision makers
- Utilize product knowledge to leverage project feasibility for specific industries and markets
- Partner with leadership to develop marketing collateral to execute supplier sales
- Provide leadership with reporting and customer feedback
- Generate and track quotes within Company software systems
- Travel to customer sites and industry events across Ontario to increase sales pipeline and grow sales
Qualifications
- Must have experience with commercial/industrial power generation products or heavy equipment/industrial
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience
- Superb communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
- Demonstrated analytical skills, able to recognize market trends and competitor strengths/weaknesses
- Proven ability to understand complex sales processes and direct closing strategies
- Experience with negotiation, pricing and execution of sales strategies
- Able and willing to travel; have a G driver’s licence and clear driver’s abstract
