Clark Exploration is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Geologist to support mineral exploration programs across Northwestern Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in remote environments and are passionate about advancing early- to advanced-stage exploration projects. You will play a key role in data collection, geological mapping, and program support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed geological mapping, and sampling (rock, soil, till)
- Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data in the field
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into company databases
- Assist in targeting and planning exploration programs
- Work collaboratively with other geologists and technical teams
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies at all times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in mineral exploration (greenfield)
- Eligibility or registration with a recognized professional association (e.g., PGO, M.I.T., G.I.T.) considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of structural geology and mineral identification
- Ability to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) is an asset
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license; experience operating ATVs, snowmobiles, or boats is an asset
Work Conditions:
- Camp-based or site-based work environments depending on project location.
- Rotational schedules (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 22 days on / 12 days off)
- Travel and accommodations provided during field rotations.
- Physically active role that includes working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
