Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education or post-degree program in Education
- Valid BC teaching certificate (COQ) and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch
Required Skills/Responsibilities
Organization:
- Effectively manage email inboxes, contact lists, and class rosters.
- Organize and track daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, including grading and feedback.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Efficiently organize files and manage resources (e.g., updating broken links and ensuring access to materials).
Systems Management:
- Adhere to and manage established systems and processes, such as report writing, preparing tests, and planning orientations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional standards and best practices.
Time Management:
- Handle fluctuating workloads, including emails, grading, orientations, and office hours while maintaining task deadlines.
- Prioritize tasks effectively on a daily and weekly basis to meet goals.
- Manage scheduling and deadlines within asynchronous teaching environments.

- Maintain high standards of accuracy in documentation, grading, and correspondence.
