Lagrange Mechanical Services Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Electrician to join our growing electrical division.
This position is primarily based out of our clean, heated, and well-maintained shop environment, with occasional field and project work as required. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and wants stable long-term employment with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 10-hour days
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional shift work and out-of-town work as required
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical work on modular and construction-related projects
- Install and terminate electrical systems
- Bend and run conduit
- Pull wire and complete equipment connections
- Generator and cabtire connections
- Assist with modular trailer electrical installations
- Work safely with various hand and power tools
- Support shop fabrication and manufacturing activities
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements
- Journeyman or 3/ 4th Year Apprentice Electrician certification
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, standing, and performing demanding work
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete client-required Drug & Alcohol testing, including cannabis, for applicable sites
