Central Alberta Farm Services Ltd provides equipment installation and maintenance services for dairy farms. We have been in the business for 6 years and pride ourselves on providing dependable and efficient services throughout Central AB.
We are expanding our team and currently looking for a welder for shop and field work. Apprentices with farm experience are welcome. We are located West of Lacombe, by Gull lake.
You will be responsible for:
- Using appropriate and safe welding processes to fabricate, and assemble components for custom fabrications
- Ensure welds meet or exceed quality standards
- Continually learn and grow to innovate with the company
- Other duties as assigned, every body does a bit of everything
We are looking for a team members who is:
- Well mannered (as we often work on family operations.)
- Detail focused
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks
- A critical thinker
Requirements:
- Farm experience preferred
- Welding experience required
- Autocad or similar experience an asset
- Available for oncall schedule (currently every 4th weekend on call)
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal record
