Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality sandwiches and other food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours to maintain timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, utensils, and food preparation stations
- Handle cashier duties accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Pay: $17.65-$18.50 per hour
