Breyden’s Reno’s & Contracting Inc. is a general contracting company that is located out of the Niagara region and surrounding. We are rapidly growing and looking for the right candidates to grow with us. The right candidate will be given a company truck but must have the knowledge and capability of the different building codes, how to complete single family homes to multi family conversions, running/teaching a crew of either 1 or 2 general labourers and more.
Responsibilities:
- The ability to frame a variety of different things
- Being able to shingle and sheet a roof
- Ability to install capping
- Can install a variety of different sidings
- Lift heavy objects over your head and carry them to a labourer if needed
- Dig holes in the ground and fill them back in with dirt/drainage rocks
- Manually assist contractors with construction projects
- Ability to hang/finish drywall is an asset
- Install different variety’s of flooring
- Ability to frame residential and commercial
- Knowledge and experience in tiling
- Experience in Kitchen/Bathroom/Basement conversions
- Can read and understand engineered drawings
- Ability to Self level floors
- Installing variations of insulation
- Ability to paint
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others and in an unsupervised work setting
- Managing different sites
- Measure and cut variations of materials using a variety of different hand/power tools
- Finished carpentry
- Knowledge of the OBC. Is an asset in the Niagara region
Job Types: Permanent, Apprenticeship, Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
