Job Summary:
The Analyst, Sales & Inventory Control is responsible for identifying/resolving discrepancies in order to ensure the integrity of sales and store inventory. The Analyst plays a key role in detecting process discrepancies and system vulnerabilities.
Main Responsibilities:

Ensure the integrity of sales on a daily basis;

Investigate sales transactions in suspense and make the necessary corrections in the Oracle Retail Sales Audit Application (ReSA);

Collaborate in and promote discussions with the Bank Reconciliation, Inventory, IT and Loss Prevention teams;

Assist with the investigation and resolution of discrepancies identified during store inventory counts;
-
Suggest improvements to the existing procedures and be solution-oriented;

Investigate and communicate technological issues to the business in order to find resolutions;
-
Be a key player in company fiscal month end by executing month-end processes and providing all related analysis and reports while respecting deadlines;

Reconcile departmental accounts to the General Ledger;
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation and provides all necessary internal and external audit requirements to ensure organizational compliance;

Participate in user acceptance testing related to system upgrades and special projects;

Perform other administrative tasks, as required.
Qualifications:
-
Diploma in Accounting or Finance;
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;

Accounting knowledge;
-
Knowledge of the multi-channel retail industry;
-
Experience with ReSA sales audit system an asset;
-
Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel
-
Experience with Power BI, Power Query, system reporting, or automation tools is an asset.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
