About The Loft
The Loft is a boutique creative and fashion marketing agency based in Montreal and New York. We create high-end content, thoughtful digital storytelling, and strategic social growth for fashion and lifestyle brands.
Our work sits somewhere between fashion, culture, and content. We care about good taste, strong ideas, and even stronger execution.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who genuinely loves content and wants to be close to the action. This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll help bring client brands to life across social, from planning the monthly content calendar to being on set, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and creating UGC.
And importantly, you need to be just as comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind it. You may be filming the content one minute and starring in it the next. You’ll work closely with our Strategist and Styling & Production Coordinator, giving you the opportunity to see how strategy, styling, production, and social come together to build a brand.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and maintain monthly social media content calendars across client accounts
- Manage scheduling and publishing across platforms while maintaining each brand’s voice and visual identity
- Capture social-first content during photoshoots, production days, events, and everyday moments
- Create elevated UGC that feels natural, engaging, and true to each brand
- Appear confidently on camera for Reels, TikToks, Stories, UGC, and other social content
- Support and direct UGC creators to ensure content feels authentic while staying on-brand
- Edit short-form video and static content using CapCut and Canva
- Stay on top of TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments
- Identify opportunities to turn trends into content that makes sense for our clients
- Manage PR-related tasks and coordinate with partners as needed
- Engage with communities through comments, DMs, and social interactions
- Keep content organized, on schedule, and moving from idea to published post
What You Bring
- A genuine interest in social media, fashion, culture, and digital content
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- A naturally refined visual eye and an understanding of what makes content feel elevated
- Access to a high-quality iPhone for social-first content creation
- Strong CapCut skills and working knowledge of Canva
- A good instinct for trends without blindly following them
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to move quickly, stay organized, and maintain a high standard of work
- A proactive personality. You see an opportunity for content and run with it rather than waiting to be asked
