What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Optometric Assistant, you'll wear an important hat:
Dispensing Duties
- Optical sales with an emphasis on personal fit and style
- Recommending lens that best suits the patient's prescription, lifestyle, hobbies, and budget
- Problem solve patient prescription concerns
- Adjust, clean, and repair glasses
- Curate frame inventory for our patients
- Uphold the highest quality standards in the eyewear industry
- Order input and order verification
- Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Assist with billing, insurance, and administrative support
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an optometric or optical clinic is helpful, but not required
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A genuine love for helping people
- Warm, upbeat, and professional communication style
- Comfortable with clinical equipment and front-desk software
- An interest in fashion
