Community Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our residential properties and serve as the primary liaison between property owners and tenants. This role is responsible for leasing, tenant relations, property operations, and financial coordination to ensure a well-managed and high-performing community.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Tenant Relations
- Market and lease available residential units, including scheduling and conducting property tours
- Process rental applications, including credit and reference checks
- Prepare and administer tenancy agreements and lease renewals
- Oversee resident move-ins and move-outs, including inspections
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure tenants comply with lease terms, policies, and building regulations
Operations & Property Management
- Coordinate unit and building maintenance with contractors and service providers
- Conduct move-in, move-out, and interim inspections as required
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction
- Act as the primary contact for owners, board members, and on-site staff
- Prepare professional correspondence including notices, letters, and emails
- Manage filings through RTDRS (Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service)
Financial & Administrative
- Manage accounts receivable and support cash flow tracking
- Review and approve vendor invoices for payment
- Monitor market trends and recommend rental rate adjustments
- Maintain accurate tenant records in Buildium property management software
Marketing & Business Development
- Maintain and update rental listings across website and social media platforms
- Identify leasing opportunities and generate referrals within the rental portfolio
Team & General Responsibilities
- Lead and support team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License
Preferred
- Experience with Buildium or similar property management software
- Background in property management, sales, retail, or hospitality
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field
- Property Management certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
