Buffalo Trail Public Schools is seeking a highly organized, professional, and collaborative individual to join our Central Services team as the Executive Assistant, Human Resources.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in supporting Human Resources operations across the division while working closely with the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role
The Executive Assistant , Human Resources provides confidential executive, administrative, and operational support related to staffing, recruitment, employee records, onboarding, leave administration, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) administrative processes, and divisional human resource initiatives.
This position is based out of Buffalo Trail Public Schools' Central Services office in . Located in East-Central Alberta, Wainwright offers a welcoming community, excellent amenities, and a high quality of life while maintaining the benefits of rural living. Key Responsibilities Include:

Supporting recruitment and staffing processes

Coordinating employment documentation and onboarding

Maintaining confidential employee records and HR information

Supporting employee leave administration and related documentation
-
Assisting with Occupational Health and Safety administrative processes and compliance tracking

Preparing correspondence, reports, and divisional documentation
-
Supporting divisional initiatives related to Human Resources and employee wellness

Qualifications:-
Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Several years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in human resources, education, or a public-sector environment, is considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience supporting confidential processes, managing competing priorities, and working independently in a professional environment is considered an asset.
