We are seeking a dedicated ***CLASS ONE **Intermodal Chassis Driver to join our team in Canada. Based in Edmonton, you will transport 20 foot c cans via intermodal to CP and CN rail yards. MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE. Full time year round position, group benefits, weekends off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate intermodal chassis trucks to transport equipment across various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Comply with all transportation laws and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary.
- Support the team in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Qualifications
- Valid CLASS ONE LISCENCE
- Proven experience in freight transportation and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills.
