Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Manager, Human Resource Services and provides administrative, technical, and operational support to the Human Resources division. The position coordinates recruitment activities, manages timekeeping and attendance records, maintains personnel files, and supports staff training, recognition programs, and HR initiatives. The role also assists with Occupational Health and Safety coordination, prepares HR documentation and reports, and provides frontline support to employees and managers. The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring confidential, efficient, and consistent HR practices across the Tłıchǫ Government.
Responsibilities
Diploma or certificate in a related field with one to three years of related work experience Knowledge of human resources best practices, including recruitment and timekeeping systems Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and other computer systems Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and organizational information with professionalism and discretion Assist with timekeeping, ensuring timesheets, leave requests, and attendance records are accurate and submitted Support recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interviews Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication, and organizational skills to provide frontline support and guidance to employees and managers Strong teamwork skills and collaborate effectively with managers, employees, and Human Resources staff Provide administrative support for HR programs, staff training, and organizational events Willingness to travel to the Tłıchǫ communities Familiarity with the Tłıchǫ language, culture and way of life
Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
