Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through active surveillance and prompt response to security incidents. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure safety and security
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and safety
- Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations
- Conduct security checks of buildings, equipment, and access points to identify vulnerabilities
Skills
- Prior experience or background in law enforcement is highly advantageous
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during emergencies
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when necessary
