We're looking for an enthusiastic Events & Communication Specialist to join our Brand & Communication team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to organize memorable events that make a lasting impact. Working closely with the Director of Brand & Communication, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse range of events, from large conferences to VIP summits and local gatherings, all aimed at boosting our brand reputations’ across key sectors. Alongside event management, you'll also oversee local and national sponsorships and lead strategic communication campaigns, ensuring our brand's message is consistently compelling. Event Management
- Execute memorable brand experiences for attendees at large conferences, VIP summits, and local user conferences.
- Collaborate with multiple organizational teams to align events and sponsorships with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring consistency in goals, messaging, and measurable outcomes.
- Serve as a resource within the company for best practices in event marketing, contributing tools and knowledge to streamline event planning processes and support client acquisition and retention efforts.
- Establish and utilize key performance indicators to measure the success of each event, focusing on enhanced visibility and business development.
Communication
- Identify, recommend, negotiate, implement, and evaluate national or major sponsorships and other communication activities related to priority sectors and segments.
- Develop communication materials to continually improve the overall event experience and meet business objectives.
- Find and pitch speaking opportunities for Amilia leaders and partners.
- Identify and present media opportunities that showcase our customers' achievements and the benefits they've realized through our offerings.
Operations
- Monitor, optimize, and report on relevant performance metrics and ROI.
Document internal processes and create tools to streamline event management.
- 3-5+ years of experience organizing, coordinating, and implementing successful events that deliver results in a B2B context.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset).
- Strong project management and communication skills to lead and influence multiple stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Proficient in Office Suite, Hubspot, SurveyMonkey, and Canva.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, as well as strong creative intuition.
Excellent collaborator with experience working with leaders of various levels.
