Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, including planting, construction, and site maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and landscape work, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for trimming, digging, and other tasks
- Maintain existing landscapes through mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control
- Support construction activities related to landscape features such as patios, retaining walls, and pathways
- Conduct routine site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed during all tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and general construction practices is desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of landscape design principles is beneficial but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills related to excavation, maintenance, and construction tasks
