Job Description: Role: Quality Engineer(Test Automation)

Duration: 6-8 Months
Hybrid: 2 days a week onsite (9am-5pm)
Quality Engineer with strong experience in both functional and automation testing in API and microservices environments.
Required Skills
* 6–8 years of QE experience
* Strong experience in API Testing (Rest Assured)
* Proficiency in Java for automation
* Hands-on with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin)
* Experience in Microservices testing
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute test cases for APIs and microservices
* Develop automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured
* Implement BDD framework using Cucumber/Gherkin
* Validate event-driven workflows (Kafka/MQ)
* Collaborate with developers and BSA for requirement clarity
* Ensure high-quality delivery through continuous testing
Nice to Have
* Experience with Kafka event validation
* CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
