Job Summary
The Revolution Auto Group is seeking qualified Automotive Service Technicians for both locations, at Revolution Chevrolet GMC & Buick and at Revolution Ford to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a high level of satisfaction for our clients.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire installations & rotations, and fluid checks.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals and charts to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components including suspension installation as needed for repair or replacement.
- Be able to explain automotive repairs and issues with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Assist in heavy lifting when necessary for parts installation or removal.
- Oher duties as assigned.
Experience
- Possess an Alberta Journeyman Certificate to perform work duties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- General Motor experience will be an asset (training and support available)
- Valid driver's license for local travel with a clean driver's abstract.
- Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various automotive systems.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
- May be required to lift objects weighing as much as 50 lbs.
- Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
- Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with heavy equipment in diesel mechanic, diesel knowledge, or can be trained.
