Maritime Good Food Co. is growing — and we’re looking for a Delivery Driver who loves the open road and the rewarding experience of working with people in the retail grocery and specialty food sector. What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to designated grocery stores and specialty food stores throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI
- Driving a company van, following efficient routes and delivery schedules
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery times.
- Asserting a friendly, professional attitude with retail grocery partners
- Thinking on your feet to make smart decisions when challenges arise
- Loading and unloading boxes of packaged foods and beverages (ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs throughout the workday)
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who genuinely enjoys driving and interacting with retail store staff and environments
- Experience delivering to or working in grocery/specialty retail is a strong asset
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Physically fit, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Positive, upbeat attitude — even on early mornings
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Able to work independently and get along with everyone
