Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring quality and presentation
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Help with serving food to customers or staff as needed
- Organize ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen workflow
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the team during busy service times by performing various kitchen duties
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Previous kitchen experience or background in the food industry will help in quickly adapting to the role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
