We are looking for DISPATCHER
We have been growing lately and are welcoming new talent to the North Eastern Trucking Inc. team.
Location: Stoney Creek
The successful candidate must have the following skills and abilities:
- Knowledge of Transportation/Logistics industry
- ACE/ACI and customs experience
- Understanding of U.S. geography and familiarity with Hours of Service regulations
- Demonstrated working ability with MS Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and priority management skills
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Flexible, able to deal with change.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Must have some good connections for getting loads
Responsibilities and Duties
- Booking and dispatching drivers, brokers for cross border and regional pickup and deliveries.
- Must ensure that all paperwork is filled correct from driver.
- Be aware of location of drivers/trucks at all times
- Monitor and respond to driver messages/calls
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Dispatching role within the Transportation/Logistics industry • Assist drivers with routing directions, delivery issues and communicating service requirements
