We are currently recruiting for a couple of Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer, who had a Spinal Stroke, in all activities of daily living.
She enjoys listening to music and drawing. Very social and personable. Determined individual dedicated to her therapies and recovery. Looking for a caring and compassionate person who can match her energy and enthusiasm.
Location:
- Maple Ridge (near Haney Place Mall)
Compensation:
- $27 per hour for probationary period
- $28 per hour once probationary period is over
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 1:30pm
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- All Personal Care including showering, dressing, washroom care and all personal hygiene activities
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Driving wheelchair accessible vehicle to appointments and any other outings (will be provided)
- Medication administration
Qualification:
- Fully Vaccinated (at least 2 doses)
- 3 years Caregiving experience preferred
- Strong Communication skills
- Class 4 or 5 drivers license
