TRG is hiring for Production support associate for our client based in Pickering, ON. Our client is a big manufacturer of handmade organic bar soaps.
Intersection: Hwy 401 & White Roads
Shift - Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM/ Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Payrate - $20/hr

Job Duties
Packaging & Production Duties
- Package personal care products including handmade bar soaps and liquid hand wash bottles
- Assemble light cardboard boxes and retail displays
- Label, wrap, and prepare products for shipment and distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production and warehouse areas
- Support various stages of soap manufacturing and packaging operations
Mold Preparation (Assembly & Lining)
- Assemble and clean 6 soap molds within 15 minutes using a mallet and scraper
- Line 6 molds using parchment paper within 16–20 minutes
- Apply oil evenly and efficiently using a paint brush during mold preparation
Demolding & Product Handling
- Use power drills to safely disassemble soap molds
- Disassemble and clean 6 full molds within 12–15 minutes
- Handle soap blocks carefully to avoid deformation or surface damage
- Each soap block weighs approximately 20 kg (44 lbs)
Soap Separation & Screening
- Support bar soap cutting operations
- Separate and screen 2 metal trays of soap every 1 minute and 15 seconds
- Maintain production targets of approximately 96 trays (6,912 bars) per hour
Sanitation & Organization
- Participate in daily cleaning and sanitization procedures
- Minimum 30 minutes per shift dedicated to workspace cleaning and organization following production
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is an asset
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication skills and reliable attendance
Safety Requirements
- CSA-approved steel toe safety shoes with green triangle certification required
