We are seeking a HEAVY-DUTY MECHANIC for repair of our fleet of concrete trucks. We have immediate openings for 310T Mechanics at multiple yards throughout the GTA for days and afternoon shifts. We are looking for those SAFETY conscious, energetic people, that want to be part of the Innocon team.
Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of cement mixer trucks and related heavy equipment. The role requires proficiency with Commercial Vehicle Service (CVS) standards, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. The 310T license is essential, and the position includes performing MTO DriveON inspections as part of our compliance program.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
● Have a safety mindset and willing to comply with the standards and procedures of
● our company policies
● Must have a valid 310T Truck and Coach or 421 Heavy Duty Technician License
● Minimum of 2 years’ heavy truck experience.
● At minimum a valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract is required but an AZ or DZ is
● preferred.
● Must possess own Hand Tools and Tool Box.
● Hydraulic systems experience asset
● Must have good written and oral communication skills
● Computer knowledge, creating work orders, utilizing email, is considered an asset
● Must be organized and willing to exhibit good housekeeping practices in our shop
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
● Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair
● Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required
● Inspect and service electrical systems, lighting, PTO (power take-off) units, hydraulics, and other ancillary equipment.
● Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
● Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
● Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies
● Keep neat and organized records of services and work
Employment Details:
We are a UNION Shop with pension and benefits based on our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
