The Role: Job Title
In this role, you will spend most of your time installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, automation equipment, and control panels to ensure seamless production operations. You will work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams, and be responsible for delivering reliable system performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous operational improvements. This role balances hands-on electrical work and rapid fault resolution with preventative maintenance and system optimization, providing clear expectations and measurable impact from day one.
- Trouble shoot, diagnose and repair electrical systems
- Utilize PLC controllers, Allen Bradley and Fanuc robotics
- Perform diagnostics on electrical panels
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering departments
- Ensure machinery complies with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering on certain troubleshooting issues
- Document work order/repairs into maintenance system
What You’ll Bring
- Completed 442A Electrician, or 309A Electrician with industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience with PLC’s is a definite asset
- Experience with Robots and controllers
- Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues
- Strong attention to detail
