Sr. React Developer - Banking / Capital Market Experience

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Code, test, debug, implement and support real-time risk and PnL applications that cater to a wide range of business units within the Capital Markets space.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve production issues related to, but not limited to data flows and application performance.
- Own and/or collaborate with the UI lead to help design and drive the UI features and initiatives such as application/platform interoperation, real-time visualizations.
- Demonstrate project implementations to key stakeholders, including high-level executive, senior management and wider QTS technology teams.
- Collaborate with inner source teams and other UI/UX groups to help build out the UI sharing economy and improve on standard patterns and architectures such as in the use of FDC3
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with functional based architectures needed with working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, threading & concurrency, ES2020+ and best practices.
- Experience in React 17+, RxJS 6+ and Redux is highly desirable.
- Experience in or solid knowledge in building robust scalable frontend platforms and experiences, which are highly test driven, utilize modern HTML5 APIs and PWA techniques and technologies such as Web Workers, Service Workers, Cache Storage, IndexedDB, ES6 Proxies, Sockets etc
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge in and experience of Open Fin and Electron based architectures, with specific experience in using FDC3
- Familiarity with different FE frameworks, tools and paradigms such as D3, GraphQL, MobX, React-query, Redux-toolkit, AG-Grid
- Quick learner with aptitude to pick up new technologies and business knowledge.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
