Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving customer engagement and supporting sales operations. This position provides expert product guidance, prepares accurate quotes, ensures seamless transactions, and builds strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while upholding Lux Windows’ high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop a strong understanding of all Lux Windows products and services
- Work with clients via phone, email, and walk-in visits to understand their business needs
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support continuity of service
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Prepare accurate quotes for small and large-scale projects using blueprints, window schedules, and material lists
- Interpret blueprints and complete material takeoffs
- Review all orders for accuracy prior to submission
- Complete sales transactions, including processing payments and customer deposits
- Assist customers in the showroom and explain quotes clearly
- Support outside sales staff by entering quotes and service requests
- Accurately enter and crosscheck quotes and service requests to minimize errors
- Prepare and deliver product presentations through showroom and site visits
- Identify opportunities for new or innovative products and services
- Handle customer concerns effectively and professionally
- Meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Strong understanding of technical sales practices and customer relationship management
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving aptitude with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
